About the Artist

濱野絵美

“銅版画は、直接キャンパスに向かう絵画とは違い、版を間にはさんで自分の思考を間接的に画面に定着させることができるので、それが自分にはすごく合っている気がします。

線の集積から出てくるかたち、たとえば、草原が風になびく線の様子や、磁石などの磁力線など、自然がつくりだした線のかたちから見えてくる秩序。その秩序への興味や執着みたいなものがあります。

そして、その秩序をトレースしたいという欲があります。なぞる行為、つまりは追体験によって自分に取り込みたい。
取り込んだものを分解、再構築したものが今の作品になっているんだと思います。

今回の個展では、大小さまざまなサイズだったり、いくつかの線の描画方法、そこから生まれる線の集積、それを自分ではカテゴリーと呼んでいるのですが、そういった実験的に試したものを発表します。”
